Updating the DAZL Player Software

Follow these steps for the recommended way to update the DAZL® Player software. Note that the system requires an Internet connection in order to check for available updates.

1. Right-click the DAZL Player program icon and select 'Run as administrator'.
2. Right-click the main window and select 'Configure' from the menu.
3. Select the 'License' tab of the Configure Media dialog.
4. Click the 'License Wizard' button.

If the version you are running has an eligible update (you have an active maintenance plan)...

5. Click the 'Update to the latest version' link.
6. Review the Release Notes for any instructions, requirements or notices.
7. When you are satisfied you are ready, click the 'Download' button (bottom center).
8. When the download is complete, click the 'Install' button (bottom right).
9. Follow the installer's instructions. You must accept the End-user License Agreement to continue.
10. Step by step, answer the installer's questions regarding the install/update.
11. Finally, agree to begin the install/update.
12. Close the installer once it reports that it has finished.
