Activating a DAZL Player License

Follow these steps to activate a DAZL® Player license.

  1. Right-click the DAZL Player program icon and select 'Run as administrator'.
  2. If immediately presented with the License Wizard, skip to step 6.
  3. Right-click the main window and select 'Configure' from the menu.
  4. Select the 'License' tab of the Configure Media dialog.
  5. Click the 'License Wizard' button.
  6. Click the 'Activate your license' button.

If you have an Internet connection...

  1. Click the 'Activate Online' button.
  2. Enter your activation key (it was e-mailed to you) into the field provided.
  3. If you need to use a proxy server to connect to the Internet, click the 'Proxy Settings' button, fill in the required values, and then click 'Ok' to continue.
  4. Click the 'Activate license key' button to attempt activation. If everything went ok, you should see a message saying that your license is activated.

Or if you have a smart phone with an Internet connection...

  1. Click the 'Activate Offline' button.
  2. Enter your activation key (it was e-mailed to you) into the field provided.
  3. Click the 'Scan QR Code' link and scan the displayed QR code with your phone.
  4. Enter the computer key displayed by your phone into the field provided.
  5. Click the 'Activate' button to attempt activation. If everything went ok, you should see a message saying that your license is activated.
